About Me
I am a Junior Researcher in the research group Responsible AI and Machine Ethics (RAIME) in the department of Neuro-mechanistic Modeling (NMM). Right now, my work is mainly concerned with the justifiability of the design, employment and “behaviour” of AI as a problem of applied ethics. I am interested in non-principle based approaches to applied ethics and their formal modeling–e.g., public reason approaches, where all affected people have a say in the decision or particularist approaches, where instead of applying rules to arrive at a decision individual relevant reasons are aggregated to form an overall verdict.
I am currently finishing my master studies in philosophy at Saarland University.
